ALMA 1913

Wood · Oil/Ink & Collage· 120 x 100 · 2014
Content: cultural scene 1913, Alma Maler between Walter Gropius and Oskar Kokoschka (SOLD)

"Alma" is one artwork of my 1913 series.
In this artwork I took a closer look to the special relationships of the Viennese and Italian artist scene of that period. At that time Italo Svewo and James Joyce had  coffee together in Triest, Walter Gropius and Oskar Kokoschka wooed Alma Maler. In return she left all questions open. Like C.G. Jung did in his last letter to Sigmund Freud.
